I have been working with Tortoise, a new type of journalism seeking to bring the news closer to the people who read it. They hold weekly open news discussions and offer a news app to their growing membership. I was asked to help create their app, working closely with their technological partners Pugpig. I worked through the process from initial wireframes to a final design, beta launch and daily maintenance of the live app. The app was created using Pugpig’s Bolt platform and we are working closely to expand its functionality and develop new features.
